Pop the confetti! One year ago today, we sent out the very first "Slice of Life" newsletter, hoping to create a small corner of the internet for stories and connection. Today, we're celebrating its first birthday, and we're completely blown away by the community that has grown around it.

To everyone who has opened our emails, shared a story that resonated, or found a piece of themselves in these columns—thank you. You are the reason we write, and you’ve made this first year more meaningful than we could have ever imagined.

It feels fitting that our first anniversary falls right after the beautiful chaos of New York Fashion Week. After a whirlwind of shows and inspiration, stepping back into this space with you feels like coming home for a celebration.

As we blow out the candles on our first year, we’re officially kicking off our fall season and stepping into Year Two. We're so excited for another year of sharing the moments—big, small, and everything in between—that make up a life.
